A windy trip to Fjäderägg

Yesterday Me, Fredrik and Emil went on a photo trip to Stora Fjäderägg. The weather wasn’t the best but we still had fun. Lots of orchids and other flowers, a few birds and a nice landscape to shoot was enough to leave us smiling.

Platanthera bifolia (Nattviol). Canon 5d mk II, 70-200 f/2.8 IS II, f/2.8, ISO 320, 1/2000 s.

Emil tried out his new (old) mini soft box with mixed results.

And then there was burgers on the menu at the local fisher camp =)

In the distance there was a war going on between the sun and the clouds. The sun lost this battle.

Just before we left the island we tried to get a few pictures of the Stercorariidae (Kustlabb) that was nesting nearby. It was dark and difficult to track the dark bird but a few shots came out okay.
