I like this island a lot. Polite people, great food and a blue sea. I must say that at polariser filter is of great use photographing the sea. Not very crowded at this pizza place. Fantastic view though. Chania is a beautiful city at the northern side of Crete. Lot’s of shops and restaurants. It can get very hot so be sure to drink a lot. As always the sunsets were amazing.   Already planning next trip....

Filters can really make a difference when shooting landscapes. These were shot with a 10 stop ND-filter to smooth out the waves. The only problem with a 10 stop ND-filter is that you’l have a hard time composing the image without taking it off.
